How To Use Trello as a CRM for Entrepreneurs- Consultants- Coaches- Small Business Owners

How To Use Trello as a CRM for Entrepreneurs- Consultants- Coaches- Small Business Owners

Are you just starting out in business? Are you looking for a simple solution to keep track of your contacts, leads and customers?

Trello is a free. Here is the link to Trello. There are very few reasons to upgrade to a paid version, however they do offer a business class and a gold class. But for most people, they can use the free version of Trello.

Now granted, Trello is not a professional CRM program like Infusionsoft is. If you need really robust applications then you will have to look at solutions like Infusionsoft.

Trello is a great project management app that can be used for many different things in your home and in your business. We use Trello for remodeling our home. We use it for homeschool projects and household chores. We use it to run our company projects on and keep track of listing syndication projects.

I created this video tutorial below to show you how easy it is to set a Trello board up as a CRM, contact management system.

Trello is very beneficial to visual learners and tactical learners. I don't like spreadsheets. They drive me crazy. But I love the boards and cards that you use on Trello. It is visually appealing to me. You can use it on your desktop, iPad and iPhone. I like the app for it on the phone.

I go to Lowe's and snap a photo of something I want for the home and add it right into my home remodeling board. We went to Ikea and we took photos of the furniture and kitchen cabinets we want to buy and then placed them on my Trello board for Ikea hacks in home remodeling.

I recommend that you sign up for Trello through your gmail account; that way it is very easy to login and you can also email directly from Trello- it will open your default email program.

For Listing Experts Academy I will be doing a tutorial on how to set up your listing syndication board. Our VA team is being trained to use Trello so shortly they will be able to run your tasks in Trello for you.

Please use my link to sign up for Trello. I get credits, no money, just credits towards their gold service if you use my link. Since I don't use the gold version it really does not matter to me however I like to keep track of who is getting Trello because of my recommendation.

Sending Your Own Kisses in Seconds! Coolest Tech Discovery of the Week!

Sending Your Own Kisses! Coolest Tech Discovery of the Week!

Google works on art projects around the world and has labs that use their creativity to come up with new ways to use the internet and to communicate. They also work with different brands to create combined projects like this burberry kiss project. burberry kiss project with google

I just tried it out by sending Nestor a Happy Father's day kiss and card- you can send images or text along with your kiss. But what is really fun about this project is that it is animated.

The entire process is interactive. You first say you want to send a kiss. Then you take a photo of your own lips in the shape of a kiss right from your computer. Then you choose your lipstick color if you are a girl. If you are a guy you send your regular skin color lips. I guess if you want to send lipstick colored lips you can:).

Then you create your message, you add the email address you want to send your kiss to. The envelope gets sealed with your original authentic kiss.

You then can watch the kiss traveling the world to its' destination on the 3D website. It is fun, the song is great and it is quite a joy to watch. You also see other people's kisses floating to their destinations.

On this map you can actually see all the kisses being sent around the world in realtime! http://kisses.burberry.com/map/

All kisses are private unless you choose to share. You can share them on google plus of course!

Try it out now at: kisses.burberry.com

Burberry Kisses is the latest campaign in our Art, Copy & Code project, an ongoing series of brand partnershipsto re-imagine how brands tell stories in a connected world. With this project, we’ve tried to create a beautiful experience that comes to life across all screens, and helps connect you to the people who are important to you, wherever they are. For more details on the campaign, see our agency blog or visit our website.

3 Facts That You May Not Know About Zillow- That are NOT in Your Best Interest

It is bad enough that third party aggregators get the MLS feeds and then sell the leads to the listings that you worked to procure back to you, the agent.   SEO for Real Estate Agents

1. But did you know that a homeowner can list their property as a FSBO on Zillow too? Yes, for FREE, they can list their house for sale by owner on their website, in case you did not know that.

2. If you have a widget from them ( see, I don't want to use their name over and over again- because that helps their branding on Google) on your website you are telling Google that they are the authority for homes for sale. Of course, you are not as big as they are, so the authority benefit goes to that link to them and not back to you.

3. They bought Postlets. Did you know that whenever you create a postlets flier and you have that on the internet, there is a link back to their website at the very bottom of the postlet under the flier?

From an SEO standpoint – these are not in your best interest.

From a listing agent standpoint- this is not in your best interest.

I know, many agents tell me they have to play the game or they lose business. I have never believed that one must compromise their principles, values or business in order to make a profit. There is always another way.

Of course, it is all up to you how you play the game and how you run your business. But real estate agents who don't pay attention to the actions they take online are the ones who begin to wonder why they no longer have their website ranking on the first page of Google, and guess who has taken your place! Agents are the reason for their own loss of control of their inventory.

How to Blog Faster with Scribefire in Google Chrome | Video Tutorial

How to Blog Faster with Scribefire in Google Chrome | Video Tutorial

You can download Scribefire in Google Chrome as an extension from the free Google Chrome Webstore. After that you can import all of your blogs into the Scribefire dashboard. Scribefire will pull in all your pages and posts from each wordpress website too! It will also post to Tumblr, Blogger and WordPress.com.

For ActiveRain you can not post directly but you can simply copy and drag your post over to a new window where you have ActiveRain opened up in if you have a Mac. If you have a PC you can copy and paste from Scribefire to ActiveRain.

For all your wordpress websites and blogs you can also set up auto posting for different dates and times of publishing. You can also spin your content easily this way.

This is a super fast way to manage your wordpress.org sites and other blog sites because you don't have to log into your site's dashboard each time you want to add content or even make one simple change. Just open up Scribefire and make a quick change, update and you are done.

The best part of ScribeFire that I like is that you easily post colored text like this red color right in the dashboard. You can add images and videos too. You also can change the size of the fonts easily and not have to worry about your WP dashboard forcing your font back to the teeny tiny size 10 that no one can read.

Here is the YouTube video tutorial that I created for you to learn how to use ScribeFire:
